Division by months

Hi,
can anyone help me, in the function i want to divide the rent on monthly basis

for instance

Full Yr Rent Jan Feb Mar ..........
120000 10000 10000 10000

i was using the formula A1/12=10000 first cell result is coming correct but from second its dividing jan cell

plz help me how can i make perfect calculation.

Try $A1/12 to lock it to column A.

you need to "lock" the column, click into the formula editing bar, click on the bit that says "A1" and press F4 you should see the dollar sign appear before it like this
