I am using excel 2007

thanx in advance, your help is apreciated.

I need some COUNTA formula help. I need to count the number of cells in column E that contain a number, then I need to count the number of cells in column B that contain Text. Then I need to divide the results of column E byresults column B.

Your thought and wisdom is very appreciated.

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
This isn't exactly what you asked for, but perhaps

=COUNT(E:E) / (COUNTA(B:B)-COUNT(B:B))
