I create a access query where i need to check for max number from table but using the field from another table, but however Table1 cannot be read.
NewID:DMAX("[NumberID]","Table2]","[Country] = [Table1]![Country]??")+1

Table 1Table 2
CountryCountry
ProductNumberID
SampleLot

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Please post a small sample of the data from each table, and show us exactly what you are trying to return.

I would expect you would need to concatenate the field value anyway?
