Hello Everyone,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
I have a strange thing going on. If I double click on a formula, I would expect the formula to be displayed in the formula box at the top and the cells being referenced to be in different colors on the formula. However, all of a sudden when I double click on a formula, it automatically jumps to the cells that were part of the formula and looks like it control selects them without displaying the formula in the formula box. Any thoughts on how to get back to the original way?

Thank you all so much,
Matt

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
I'm not sure, but one guess is:

Go to Excel Options > Advanced And under Editing Options make sure "Allow Editing Directly In Cell" is checked.

Hope this helps.
