Hi.
I am developing a fault log that requires users to be able to drag and drop (fill series) the log number (Col A), or just drag and drop (copy cells) to make it easier to log faults. The issue that I am having is that there are several protected columns (K,N,O,P,Q) preventing this (the Red and Blue cells in the image).
The formulas in those cells use what gets inserted into the green cells (Col. I,J,L,M) and users will commonly drag and drop either Col. A or Col A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J together in an effort to save time.
I would like columns (K,N,O,P,Q) to remain protected in an effort to protect the formula from careless actions.
It seems this should be easy but I am yet to find a fix.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

Excel Facts

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
Can anyone assist on this? I haven't yet found a resolution and have tried various things.
