Hello,

I have an Excel sheet that I would like that when I click on a certain cell that a drop down menu will come up and allow me to pull certain data from another Excel sheet and paste it into the current cell. Basically I have a purchase order form that I want to paste a certain vendor name from a list of 200 vendors on a separate Excel file and put it into the purchase order form I'm working on, so that I can fax it.

Any help you can give will be appreciated, I have tried various things but none have helped, if you can give examples and codes it would help as I have a good basic knowledge of Excel but am far from an expert.

Thank You,

Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Well. Im not an Excel guru but I think I can help with the drop down box.
If you highligh the list of names, and then rename that list "Vendornames" or something. Then you go to the cell you want the menu on. Go to "Data" - "Validation" then choose "list" from the "settings" tab. Now, in the formula box, type "=vendornames" or whatever you called it. (without quotations)
Hope this helps.
