Hi All,

I have two rows of data. In one row there is data duplication (meaning I have say "John Smith" twice). I want to set up a formula to get rid of the duplicates and the data to appear only once.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi,

your post has some confusing elements
1. "two rows of data", but you are talking about only one with duplicates
2. do you really want a formula, ot do you just want to delete the duplicates ?

if your data would be displayed in columns you could use "advanced filter" to get rid of the duplicates

so please clarify a bit and provide a little example

TIP: there are a lot of posts about duplicates
did you "search" ? (see top of the page)

kind regards,
Erik
