Dear Experts,
Referring to the same project I mentioned before. My project extracts financial information from internet and calculates some indices. I made a chart to display these values. Problem is that this chart is not dynamic i.e. it does not update itself with new information. I want a code to update the existing (only) chart in sheet1 with new available information. Can anyone please help?

Thanks alot in advance

Ali

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
You can do achieve a quick dynamic chart or self expanding by converting you data range to a table.
Create your chart as usual
Select any cell in the range that contains data that is used by the chart
Choose Insert- Tables Tables to convert convert the range to a table
CTrl+T in excel 2007 or CTRL+L in previous versions

thats all there is really just add in your data to the bottom of the data range and your chart will expand

hope that helps

Wow! i spent two days on this.. this really works :) thanks alot... One more question though, say i have data till June 6 2011 and new data arrives for June 7 2011 now date cell adjacent to new data is empty. I want to use an 'if' formula so that if adjacent cells are empty, date cell will be empty, if they are not, they will go a day ahead. I hope my crappy english explained it correctly.

thanks alot
