Hi,

I have a waterfall chart and would like to put some data labels on it...

What I was wondering is if it is possible to have the data labels pointing to a cell? i.e. =E6

The reason for this is that the waterfall chart sometimes crosses from negative to positive and vice versa, so the way I do it, I have two figures and I want to be able to show these added together.

Thanks,

Eoin

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Hey!

Yes you can. Though its not clear to me what the chart looks like, try this -

Add data labels (Default Ones). Then Click on the data lable border, while it is clicked, type the equals sign and click on the cell to be referred and hit enter.

I hope this should give you what you want.. :)

Cheers!
