Hi there - I'm currently trying to display a structure chart and corresponding flows using form labels and arrows (there are approximately 40 arrows showing flows between about 10 different boxes). It resembles the sort of construction of text boxes and connectors one would put together in word or powerpoint.

I am trying to show a value ($x) for each arrow, indicating the amount of funds flowing in that direction. However, $x will vary depending on which year of data I want to show.

Does anyone have an idea as to how I can show a text label for an arrow, and have the contents of that label dynamically update depending upon what the contents of a cell are?

Have looked everywhere and am stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Adam

Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
