Hi, very new to Access but quite profficient in Excel.

I have created a database form exported CSV file. Data is customer name and address, telephone details etc.

I'm trying to create a form that allows a user to move thru records and after a call, edit approx 4 fields.

I'm getting an error box that says 'Updating data in linked table is not supported by this ISAM'.

Given my current lack of Access knowledge, I'm fumbling in the dark.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some good step by step instruction online or help me with some good pointers.

Many thanks in advance.

(Using MS Access 2002 on Vista 32bit)

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
You can't update a CSV file by linking to it. You would have to update a table and export it each time.
