I use Excel to enter sports records. When I entered a team's won-loss record as 5-9, the entry automatically changed to 9-May. I've searched and searched and cannot find a way to disable the automatic entry. Can anybody help me?

Hi - welcome to the board!

If you format the destination cells as text before you enter your data, you should be OK.
