Equivalent of lotus' "Cellpointer" ??

Using Macros, what is the Excell equivalent of "cellpointer"? I used this in lotus macros to place the task in that cell

Hopefully, if you describe the task and outcome, someone will be able to tell you the answer, even if they have never used Lotus (I only ever used version 1 about 18 years ago, so a little rusty! )
