Hello

I am trying to get a the number of cells that have a value of 1 in each column from the following table

 SR Email in Email Out 1-100000042-7 1 1 1-105414900-7 1 1 1-109295564-7 1 1 1-112045199-7 1 1 1-120700322-7 1 1 1-125862229-7 1 1 1-125970213-7 1 1 1-125998569-7 1 1 1-126474609-7 1 1 1-126768968-7 1 1

<TBODY>
</TBODY><COLGROUP><COL><COL span=2></COLGROUP>

I have tried using the following formula

COUNTIF((B1:B10,"=1") and (C1:C10,"=1"))

But it is not working. Can you advise what I am doing wrong.

### Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.

Thanks for the update Peter.

I have added this to the workbook and it delivers an value of 0. I have also used the Ctrl, shift and enter option and still comes back with 0.

I was expecting a result of 10. Am I doing anything wrong? Any other ideas?

Regards
