So I had successfully written a timeclock application using excel vba that ran successfully in Windows xp32 bit accompanied with office 2003 on a touchscreen computer. The employees press the button with their image on it and a time is registerd for in and out times during the day. I had all sorts of added functions that detected missed clock outs and birthdays and much more. Anyways; I upgraded the machine to a new Hp touchsmart runnging win7 64bit and installed office 2003. My program runs but experiences unexplainable events. Like when everybody has left for the day; the building locked up and alarmed; out of the blue, button for the users will randomly clock in. The next day; some people show up to work with missed punch indicated which is completely incorrect. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced unexplainable events just from switching the OS. I even went to the trouble of re-writing the program from the ground up; and finding that even a less complicated written project suffers from buttons being pressed in the userform by phantom employees in the locked alarmed warehouse at night. Project works ace on xp32 office 32
