I have 64 bit windows ultimate and 2010 excel 64 bit... I have a program that exports data (approx 777,343 rows of data) in standard .xls format....

when i open it in excel, i can only see 64k rows and am in compatibility mode...

Does anyone know how i can view all 777K rows? thanks

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Can you post the code? You need to format as an xlsx file to see all the rows and columns.

Have you tried working the other way?

ie importing from the database to Excel

As far as I can find out there is something called the Advantage OLE DB Provider.

Now I'm not 100% sure what that is but it sounds like some sort of driver to me.:)

You won't be able to import more than 65,536 rows into an xls file. What you should do in this case, is export the data to a csv file, then open the csv file in a newer version of Excel.
