Hey all,

I have an excel graph that we made in Excel 2010. It graphs Dates on the Y axis and then scores data on the x axis (1, 2, 3, 4). The graph works fine except when we want to expand the data fields. For example I have the first ten cell in the a column set to a date (Ex. 05/18/2011, 05/19/2011). In the B column I would have the scoring data (ex. 1, 3, 6, 9). I want to be able to set the chart (line chart) to graph these columns and also add about ten blank columns for new data to be entered. When doing that the graph goes haywire. The Y axis changes all the dates to 01/01/1900 and up from there one day at a time. The X axis turns to 1/1, 1/2, 1/3 and so on. This problem actually started occuring about a week ago. Before that is seemed to handle blank cells just fine. SO basically I need to make a spreadsheet that can handle the blank data cells or ignore them until they are filled. ANy suggestions would be helpful
