Hi,
First, I understand there are supposed to be keyborard short cuts to perform all of the commands in Excel. Can someone tell me what the keyboard short cuts are to start recording a macro and to stop recording the macro in Excel 2010.
Second, I have made many macro's in the past with another non-microsoft program but none of my macros seem to work out properly in microsoft programs because it seems microsoft always want to help co-author the macro instead of just recording the keystrokes pressed.
Specifically, I want a macro that will simply add three zeros to the end of the number I enter and then shift one cell to the right.
When I make such a macro, instead of just adding three zeros, the macro picks up the number before it as well. Then when I try to use the macro in the next number, it fills in the whole number including the three zeros from the time when it was created over writing the number I want to add the three zeros to. Can someone shed some light on this problem?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Frank
