Having to upgrade to Windows 11 and will also upgrade to newer version of Office. Is the Excel in Home & Student as good as Excel 2007? ... or should I go with Home & Business?
Are the Excel versions the same?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Welcome to the Board!

I would say 2021 is much better than 2007. There are a bunch of new powerful functions that you miss out on by staying with 2007, like the new FILTER function.

I would expect that...but how about difference between 2021 Home and Student vs 2021 Home and Business?

I could slap myself for not trying something other than microsoft! LOL!
That is exactly the info I needed! Looks like Excel is the same across the three 'versions'. Seems it all just packaging stuff.
Thank YOU!

You are welcome.

Yes, the big difference (for me anyway) was that the Student version did not contain Microsoft Access, and I use that.
