Hi,

I have a group (with name "rep") of circles, and each circle has a name, c1, c2.. etc. Now, I want to add arrow into each circle. The arrow is added to the excel and named as "downarrow".

Could you please let me know how I can do this?

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
This will ungroup the grouped ovals. Need to be grouped after again together with the arrows I would think.
Try on a copy of your workbook as I am pretty sure that there will be follow up questions coming.
Code:
Sub jolivanes()
Dim shp As Object
    ActiveSheet.Shapes("rep").Ungroup
    For Each shp In ActiveSheet.Shapes
        If shp.AutoShapeType = msoShapeOval Then
            ActiveSheet.Shapes.AddShape(msoShapeDownArrow, shp.Left + shp.Width / 2 - 5, shp.Top, _
            10, shp.Height).Select
        End If
    Next shp
End Sub
