Hello, I have two issues, one is when I copy and paste a huge dataset from a database, Excel automatically changes the view to R1C1 reference. I want A-Z reference view. This is hugely annoying. any help is appreciated.

second issue is here, similar problem, Excel automatically added a "Column1" to my spreadsheet. I think these two issues are related. Here is a picture. I tried going into Options, Proofing, AutoCorrect Options unchecked everything in Auto Format As You Type. That did not seem to work. All help is appreciated. thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
It looks like you copy and pasted a table, if there is no specified column Header it will start as "Column".

If you pasted the table to column C, Column c will become column 1 for the table, tables need a column Header. If you don't want it as a table, select anywhere in the table and click the table format tab. Find and select convert to range.
