Hello,

This question most likely has already been posted before, but when I try to search for it I mostly get questions around creating an Excel button that will save a spreadsheet into a PDF.

I have a xlsx file that I use for invoicing. In that file I have a button that navigates to a URL that is constructed via VBA. It is a specific URL with the Invoice # and details so the user can pay via our online Credit Card Processor.

I send my Invoices to my clients in PDF form, I would like this button to be visible, operational, and point to the same URL when the spreadsheet is saved as a PDF.

Is this possible?

Thank you

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
I do not believe you can save operational buttons to a pdf. It only makes pictures.

That's what I was afraid of. I've read that you can put a hyperlink in the cell behind the button, then when it saves to PDF the button image will so but when you click it you'll actually click the hyperlink behind. This doesn't work for me as the hyper link is longer and all has to be visible (can't be cut off in the cell) to work properly so it's difficult to play with the right size.

Are there any other options to have a user friendly/readable link or button in excel that can be saved to PDF?
