Excel document Security Question

Hello All,

I have a document that I am allowing all users on the shared drive to access... How can I make it so that the user can use my document template, but not save over it, but instead they have to save their changes/copy to a new location. This way when another user accesses the template it will be clear for them to input their information.

I hope this makes since.

Thank you.

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Try this in the ThisWorkbook module

Code:
Private Sub Workbook_BeforeSave(ByVal SaveAsUI As Boolean, Cancel As Boolean)
If Not SaveAsUI Then
    Cancel = True
    MsgBox "You can only Save As", vbInformation, "NOT SAVED"
End If
End Sub
