Excel Error: Selection too large

Hello,

I am getting an excel error when I refresh a database query (MS query running over an access database) on a worksheet. The data range is set to insert cells for new data and clear unused cells, and to fill down formulas in adjacent columns.

A Microsoft Error with a warning icon and 'Selection Too Large' shows.

Although the query refreshes the data range, the formulas are not filled down.

I started to think about working around with code, however even attempting to copy and past the cells manually gives the same results.

I have also noticed that if I paste special, formulas it works, but if I try and paste special, formats it does not.

Any help would be very gratefully received.

Nick
