excel error

hlo

i seem to have screwed up my excel while installing some addin toolpack. i put in the cd, but encountered some errors, so i aborted the installation

now everytime i open excel, it give me a runtime error

"ERROR 1706. No valid source could be found for product Microsoft Access 2000 SR-1 Runtime. The Windows Installer cannot continue" :x

can i repair this error without re-installing windows?

any help appreciated

Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
The error you mentioned relates to a corrupt file in Microsoft Office and no way you need to reinstall Windows !

Put Microsoft Office CD in the CD ROM drive and select the option to "Repair" Microsoft Office which is already installed on your computer. It will definitely solve your problem without you having to reinstall / uninstall Windows.
