Excel file require password after an expiry date - VBA Code

I am working on file for a client. I want him to use the excel sheet till August 31, 2020. After the expiry date, file is protected with a password. Please help in building VBA Code.

without buying a locking solution, the best you might do is put in a workbook open event (which if macros are disabled provides a defeat initially)

but initially

IF date > '2020-Aug-31' Then Close
