excel file size doesn't decrease even delete all sheets and insert new blank sheet

i used data source with nearly 31400 rows and 14 columns to analyse my data in excel but this data source made my excel file from 30 kilobytes size to 5 mg
so i decided to delete data source and keep my sheets but the problem doesn't solved
at the end i insert new blank sheet and delete all used sheets but this new blank sheets with no data is 1 mg?

Do you have formatted Cell in your workbook?
What about Clear Contents at all Sheets?

5mg? That seems kind of light.

Did you mean 5Mb or 5 Gb?

thanks the problem is about 1mg size for new empty sheet in a file that all sheets have been deleted

Try to save your workbook as binary format .xlsb …​

If you delete the named range, the workbook size will drop.
