Excel file taking longer to save than normal

My excel file takes about 10 seconds to save on my jump drive, but if I copy the same file onto my desktop and save it, it is immediate.

The jump drive has more than 50% of space left (8GB drive) and it just started occuring. Any idea how to check down the culprit?


Ive tried copying the desktop file back to the jump drive and replacing it, but I get the same results.

And what about copying any other similarly sized file to the jump drive? Is that slow too?

Unfortunately, no....this is the only file that is having this issue.
