Excel for Mac 2011 feature in 2010

Not sure if you can help, but I work off a macbook and a windows machine. One feature i LOVE with the Mac Excel 2011 is the the fact that every time you open a new doc it opens in a seperate window.

Do you know if you can make excel 2010 open new documents in new excel windows, instead of within the same?

So you wish to launch 'multiple' instances of Excel 2010 in order to simulate the MAC feels?

Hmm i tried that and it works, but i get the following

Thats great!! it works...can this work with .csv files or is it just xls and xlsx.
