Excel Insanity

Everytime I do a web query weather with the web button or iqy file, it just seems to put in all the wrong content. When making a google query the results I get are the sponsored links appearing along with the page outline but nothing else, same problem over and over. Someone please help me with this its madness.

on the iqy example I did, uses google for it and on the search results only the outline and google paid sponors shows. It seems no matter what website I use I don't import the main part just the outline and paid advertisements.

can you describe in detail the web address and the content you're trying to query along with the steps you used and which yellow arrow icon you selected in the web query.

Google results may not be embedded in an html table or other easily identifiable marker for Excel - I'm not seeing Excel pick up on the results anyway. Sorry, I'm not an expert on these types of things, so I can't tell you what would work here.

Microsoft expert support has informed me that its a bug, that they are aware of. Thanks for responding
