Excel is not Closing

I have already reinstalled my excel but still gives me problem in getting out of it. Looking at my WIndows NT task manager it shows that my excel apps eats up 100% of CPU process during exit and even shows not responding. So to get out of excel, I just kill it with end task command.

Guys, i need your precious advice on how to correct this. Thanks...

Sounds like your operating system is screwed up. Try re-installing your operating system. If that does not help you may have to upgrade to XP. What version of NT do you have?

In NT if you Excel is part of an Microsoft Office package the TaskManager, added to the System startup, may cause a problem. Seems I saw a fix to this on the Microsoft product site?
