Hello,

Has anybody here had a chance to use Excel on Office Apple OS?
I am considering getting a MacBook w/Office Mac 2011 but I'm concerned about functionality. I am proficient with Excel and use complex formulas all the time - will I have to re-learn everything on a Mac? Are all functions the same as on the Win version?
I know Mac does not allow VBA or Macros, I'm ok with that.

Thanks so much for your input.

Get help while writing formula
Click the italics "fx" icon to the left of the formula bar to open the Functions Arguments dialog. Help is displayed for each argument.
The new Excel 2011 for Mac OS is almost the same as the Win version now.

VBA is now fully functional, which is about time!

It has the Ribbon, but not all icons are not in the same place.

It has the Mac OS look and feel, but otherwise, it's a Mac and it just works.

By the way going Mac was the probably best computing move I ever made. You can always run Windows on your Mac if you wish though I don't find the need at all.
