I want to run excel from a server on which it has been installed. what file am i looking for? excel.exe?

I want to run it from the server so that macros can run independently of a pc. The server will call a batch file that executes the macros.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks.

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)

Hi,

You could setup a scheduled task on the server (Manual or using windows script) and have the macros run from workbook open.

Regards
