Excel Refresh connection

I have an excel with 4 sheets...In 4 th sheet i have data refresh from external excel file setup every 5 minutes..But while i work on the 1st sheet ,, every 5 minutes active cell is shifted to the 4 th sheet where refreshed data is highlighted..even after enabling background refresh..I am facing this issue.. How to fix so that active cell dont get shifted to 4 th sheet
