Excel scroll bars

I have a spreadsheet that scrollbar on the right side seems to indicate that the sheets are incredibly long, due to the small slider.

How to I change that so that the slider is larger/more accurate?

Press CTRL+END and see what Excel think's the last used row (cell) is; if it's blank/empty, delete all the rows (whole rows, not just the cells) that are empty above it and then save and close and re-open your workbook
