Excel Start Screen Hides upon startup

Hi all, I have an odd one.

I did an Office 365 online repair this week and ever since then, upon starting excel, the start screen briefly shows, the disappears.
Upon Clicking File, the screen re-appears.

Doing the suggested File, Options, General, Start Up Options and ticking or unticking the option "show the start up screen" has no affect.

I have tried adding a Qword registry key and it didn't make any difference either.

Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.
