Hello!

I need some help again :) . Right now, I am trying to create a timeline chart in excel, and got the tip sheet from this website. The example it gives is:

Model Begin Duration
A 1900 21
B 1915 21
C 1930 21

This works.

However, my data is in months of a year, not multiple years.

Model Begin Duration
A 3/15/05 7
B 2/28/05 5
C 5/14/05 4

Using chart wizard on this confused it, so that the dates are used
on y-axis, and the x-axis uses the duration.

Is there a way to do the timeline chart using just the months of the year?
Thanks!

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Ok, I am the guy who originally posted the question. Well .. duh, there was an easy answer to my question. I must have been dozing that day.

I just turned my dates from 3/15/05 to 3, so that the stacking bar graph would work. It is not exactly what I was hoping for, but it got the job done.
