Hi friends
I am trying to create a excel VBA file for my inventory purposes. I have already created the form for issue vouchers and all. I want to include the barcode scanner usage into my userform by assigning each barcode reader to each department. So if any barcode will scans, I want to get the barcode details and also about from which department that barcode device triggered. Please advise me the solution for the above problem.

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).

Since this post is old, i guess you found solution.

Here how i did this:
- Made a form with one inputbox (here comes the barcode data, manually or via barcode reader)
- write an inputbox_afterupdate event which find the relevant data
--after this the user can decide if move this data (stock, whatever the barcode is identified) out of warehouse, or read other one.
---later added a partial removal, the stuff stayed on the registered place, with previously registered data, but changed the quantitiy
