Kindly advise

I have a worksheet with 6 colunms and 8000 rows of data
and my client wants me to do a 10%(800 records) weekly accuracy of this data measured on the 6 colunms

Now I already have formulas in place to give me the percentages but my client is not happy that the selection of the 10% data is done manually

How can I automate this by it selection the 10% for me

Awaiting your urgent response

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
You just wanna select 10% of rows of data?

welcome to the board

you can use the random number feature in excel to generate random selections, although this will not always add up to exactly 10%. It will also recalculate every time you change the worksheet, because the feature is volatile

try something like, on every row, =RAND()<=10%

To fix the values, and get exactly 10%, you would probably need a macro
