Exclude data based on value

I have a spread sheet that is being auto populated from an external source. I want to display the data in a chart. If the data is not valid the source sends a 9999. I dont want this value in my chart. How can I exclude data based on value
 

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
