Hi

I have a document on a network drive (S:\) that links to other documents on the same drive

I email the document to others who fill in their commentary. When they return the file to me and I open it, the links have changed and now point to the C drive (same path after that)

How can I get it to remember that the files are on S? (Without having to go through the Edit, Links menu)

cheers
Linsey

This is a hard thing to do. Whenever you email the document, it creates links to "temp" files on the user's hard drive. I have run into this problem on many occasions, and have not found an easy method for correcting it. :devilish:
