Hi

I have a document on a network drive (S:\) that links to other documents on the same drive

I email the document to others who fill in their commentary. When they return the file to me and I open it, the links have changed and now point to the C drive (same path after that)

How can I get it to remember that the files are on S? (Without having to go through the Edit, Links menu)

cheers

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
This is a hard thing to do. Whenever you email the document, it creates links to "temp" files on the user's hard drive. I have run into this problem on many occasions, and have not found an easy method for correcting it.
