Extract Information from data sets

Hello,

I'm trying to extract information from data sets that looks like this: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

the data set always starts with "Element: xxx", and xxx could either be linear or circular. If the data set is circular, it contains 17 lines of data, and if it is linear it contains 4 lines of data.

Is it possible to based on this predictive pattern to write a macro that recognizes the kind of data set it is (linear or circular), and extract multiple cells information from it? My goal is to have the data that i wanted to be extracted into separate column.

My thoughts are to do a counter between the occurrence of the strings that contains the phrase "Element", and if the counter returns 17, extract cells (x,y) and have it placed at column z based on the counter. Is this feasible? And how do I start with this?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
