Hello all,

I am trying to pull data from a trial balance report based on the 1st and 3rd digit of the account number to a new worksheet. The account number is in column (A) and I am looking to pull the account number (A), account description(B) & ending balance(E) to the new worksheet. I have used the VLOOKUP function to pull date to a new worksheet based on the account number but have not been able to figure out how to recognize the account number criteria and pull the account number and the subsequent information.

I would be able to truncate the TB report and would only need to use the 3rd digit if using both the 1st and 3rd digits is not possible.

Thank you for all your help,
