Extracting Data

I receive a spreadsheet with 7 columns of data and anywhere from 15 to 400 rows in it. One column contains agents ID's. What I want to do is quickly extract my agents from this report into a spreadsheet with just them on it.

If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.

As I understand that ID is embedded with stings attached to and you wish to seprate out only ID ?
