File Format - unknown format

For some reason when I save an Excel 2003 file, it saves the file and adds an automatic copy by assigning a filename consisting of letters and numbers, with an unknown format. How can I stop this from happening?

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
