Filter Date not working Properly

Hey Team,

Probably a simple fix.

For some reason some of my dates are not combining into my year month date dropdowns at the top and instead they show up underneath those drop downs. Why is this the case? It seems to be preventing me from doing date grouping in my pivot table as well.

Thoughts??

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
It appears to me that maybe your dates are actually entered as Text, and not valid Dates.

Yes that could be the case,

If I highlight the entire column I get only a count summery in the bottom right.

Whats the easiest way to fix the format??

You can use "Text to Columns", choosing a date format in the third argument to change "dates entered as text" to valid date entries.
