Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Apologies - I hit the return key before finishing my post, and I can't figure out how to delete this

You cannot use spill ranges in or over merged cells. Get rid of the merged cells they are an abomination & should be avoided like the plague.

Solution
I thought as much.
I'd only used them as there is a table underneath it; I'll have to come up with another solution for the second table.

Apologies for the dual post - this one was created by mistake, and this board doesn't let you delete, or amend the title once you've posted; as mentioned in my first reply, I apologised and said what happened.
