Good Afternoon,

I am having an issue on how to write some VB to find a reference on another page and transfer the line of data it is attached to, to another page.

A colleague in another department enters a reference no. in cell E14 and completes the department the paper work was submitted from.

I then need the VB to check the department it was raised from ( seperate sheet in the same work book ), then cross reference the refernce number and find it in column 9 ("I") and then pull the whole line of data into the front sheet.

Is this possible to do and is there anywhere i can look to learn how to write the VB??

Many thanks
