I am looking for a macro to find the date value in I3 in the date range of L3:BD3. When it finds the value I need it to paste what is in H6 in row 6 in the column it finds the date value in. Thank you for the help
Sub searchdate()
Dim f As Range
Set f = Range("L3:BD3").Find(Range("I3").Value, , xlFormulas, xlWhole)
If Not f Is Nothing Then
Cells(6, f.Column).Value = Range("H6").Value
Else
MsgBox "Date not exists"
End If
End Sub
The date range are formulas and the value of I3 is hard keyed. the date range and I3 are formatted as dates. The VBA returned Date not exists even though the dates match.

If Not f Is Nothing Then
Cells(6, f.Column).Value = Range("H6").Value
Else
MsgBox "Date not exists"
End If
