I want to find the lowest # in a column and upon finding that # I would like to return the value that is in the same row but in the column to the left of it.

Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.

If the #'s cover the range say B1:B100 (adjust to suit) try this:

Excellent example....mainly because of the fact if there are more than 1 of the same lowest value... this formula will provide data based on all the occurrences instead of just the first found value which is what Vlookup does. This is what I was looking for. Thanks
